Hagman files complaint against union

Assemblyman Curt Hagman announced today that he filed a complaint with the Fair Political Practices Commission against the San Bernardino County Public Attorneys Association (SBCPAA). The complaint is in connection with a political mailer the group sent on behalf of his opponent, Gloria Negrete-McLeod, in the race for Fourth District Supervisor on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. Hagman asserts that the disclaimer on the mailer is deceitful.

Knight’s dedication to veterans questioned

Senator Steve Knight touts his dedication to veterans’ issues, and has especially done so, during his current campaign for Congress. Opponents are questioning his sincerity due to his latest gaffe. Among Knight’s endorsements is one by Dick Jeffrey, who lists his title as “USMC Combat Veteran.” His endorsement of Knight reads, "Talk is cheap! Show me what you have done. Steve Knight has been in the lead on helping support our military, veterans and their families.
